Tim Ashby-Peckham

Name: Tim Ashby-Peckham

Age: 25

Creative Field:

Describe your art:

I'm a photographer who specializes in two types of photography, nature and astrophotography, which is photographing stars and other astronomical subjects.

How do you get started?

I brought a DSLR camera back in 2015 and one of the first things I photographed was the international space station. I posted it online and it ended up getting viewed over a million times. This opened my eyes to the potential that photography had and I've been pursuing it ever since.

What inspires you?

Two of my biggest passions are space and nature and having a camera is a great reason to go and seek those things out and experience more of them.

Which other artists/creator in your field do you like?

Photographers like Mark Gee and Jordan McInally are very talented photographers and are people who I look up to.

Hopes and dreams?

I would love to make a living off of my photography but so long as I'm taking the best photos I can I'm happy.

Anything else you’d like to say?

Always give things a try you may be surprised what you're capable of and where you may end up.
